so i was at this party you know... best underground club in town at the time and as always, when i got a shot at a main event one day, i had some interpersonal conflicts betweent the club crew and the promoter before i spinned. I did play though, and it was one of the best experiences of my somewhat short dj carreer. I had my back against the wall from the start, i started thinking that everyone was going to try to boicot me in some fashion. I tripple checked the turntables, the wirying, the feedback and everything seemed fine. i did my homework that day and the boicot thing probably was some paranoia of mine. Anyhow... i played a great all vinyl set and left a lot of my haters with their mouths shut. specially the promoter. So after i was done playing... the promoter came to me and said.. Yo candle... if only you would let your music speak for itself and you werent so ... intense. Yeah thats when i lost it. I was ready to fuck him up cause he hit me right in the wound. I left the place so angry and frustrated at the truth i was facing that i made this. so yeah, this is a real moment of my life. The trippy atmosphere of this track makes think of quicksand, a place were you get stuck and repeat patterns of behaviour over and over again eventhough they go against your own goals. This kind of trippy thing is probably going to be a theme during my production journey.
